Miggy came home from his first day of preschool declaring his love for a fabulous "Natalie."
I had asked him if he liked his teacher and he said, "No, but I love Natalie. She is the most beautiful girl in the school. I stared at her for a long time." Miggy described her hair, her clothes (they have little hearts on them) and her great beauty. "She is the most beautiful girl in the class," he kept saying. Mom was a little jealous, but ultimately gave her her seal of approval. "I expected this eventually, but not on the first day of preschool," Mom said. Natalie is the cutest and tiniest girl in the class. As you can see from the top picture Miggy gets really shy around her.
I decided to put this up so Miguel won't forget his first crush.
The blonde girl in the second picture is Natalie's rival. Miggy doesn't like her, but she and her twin sister are crazy about Miggy. Whenever I pick up Miggy, Blondie and her sister insist on giving Miggy a "group hug." Miggy just stands there with his arms straight down and says, "I can't breathe." Natalie has given him a couple of hugs (Miggy likes her hugs much better) but it's hard for Natalie to make it past the aggressive twins to give Miggy a hug.
