Ramirez Kids with Talent...

I remember that Zion used to be like two or three years old and he would hear music on the radio and go over to the piano and starting pecking it out by ear until he had duplicated the melody.

I don't think the talent was ever encouraged and maybe it went to waste.

Young kids are simply amazing learners and they do and mimic things so

Gabriel seems to be very musically inclined, he seems to be able to remember every song he has ever heard and he is always humming and singing to himself. He's a really good dancer who makes up all kinds of fabulous moves as he goes along. We will be starting him in Piano lessons after he turns five, although he is so shy that he might not want to have anything to do with a piano teacher.

Miguel is the world's first 2-year-old comedian/ Ultimate Fighting Champion.

Danny was a good athlete.

Sam was a pretty good cook, an amazing video game talent and a world-class drunk at one time.

Josh was good at looking at himself in the mirror. What was amazing about him was that for an ugly guy he seemed to have no problem picking up chicks.

I had no real good skills as "Napolean Dynamite" would say. Couldn't pick up chicks, was horribly weak and uncoordinated and I was not a stylish dresser. Couldn't dance, sing or play an instrument. I was not good with nun-chucks or the bo staff. I was a pretty good reader and writer though.

Elijah seems to be super talented academically and sportswise. Taekwondo, football, basketball, he's a wonderfully gifted and talented round mound.

Mathias is a chess whiz, which surprises me because whenever I saw him he was always slobbering at the mouth and jumping off chairs.

What about the other kids?

Grand Chessmaster In the making...

UPDATE: We just got back from a visit to a friends house. He's 31 yr old Engineer. Mathias beat him pretty soundly. I hope it didn't hurt his feelings too bad. It cant be any fun getting beat in chess by a kid who doesn't even know how to read yet.

Mathias, who has only been playing chess for about four months is rapidly becoming the best chess player in house. He beat me the other day when I sat down to teach him a lesson because he had been telling everyone who would listen he had massacred me (I let him win the first game he ever played to get him interested). Well, this time I was gonna give him no breaks to bring him back to earth! Well I made a mistake (not on purpose) and I couldn't recover, he trounced me for real. He had already beaten my friend Fernando( whos 30 or so) the day before and Chris, a 16 year old who like chess, and poor Isaiah, whose become his daily victim. Sunday he played Zion (whose probably a little better than me) and had him whooped too but slipped and made a mistake as he was cornering him into checkmate. He had put him in check four or five times in a row, and was closing in with all his pieces. Zion took about twice as long as Mathias to make his moves and still should've lost. I'm sure within a few months he may just beat us all consistently. Now if i can only get him to help me with my Algebra...
